The unis are created by Nike and are called the Nike Hyper Elite Platinum uniforms. Along with Duke, the University of Florida, Baylor University (women’s), University of Arizona, Syracuse University, University of Kentucky, the University of Connecticut (both men’s and women’s), and last but least, the University of North Carolina Tar Holes will be wearing them as well.
The fabric in the shorts are made from 100% recycled polyester while the jerseys are 96% recycled polyester-based. We all know how Nike is committed to being environmentally conscious while still making sweet uniforms like these.

I remember when I hopped on the Duke bandwagon as a little seven year-old tyke. One of my favorite elements of the Duke games I watched were the Cameron Crazies. Boy, they sure lived up to their name. It was simply a madhouse because there were clearly more than 1,000 Duke students packed into their section.
Now, that number is diminishing fast, and Duke is starting to sell the seats which are usually reserved for the Cameron Crazies.

Fansided is growing its NCAA network, including its ACC network as well. So with that, the editors of the other ACC blogs (with the exception of Canes Warning, who could unfortunately not be a part of this roundtable edition) and I have collaborated on our first ever ACC roundtable. Topics included the state of our basketball programs, what we’ve seen so far, and what we expect our teams to do.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. Duke Blue Devils (4): Tonight at 7:00 PM EST on ESPN.
The Dukies look to keep their record in ACC play perfect as they strive to go 4-0 in the conference. That shouldn’t be a problem.

It’s been about 20 days since I was appointed the new lead editor for Big Duke Balls. It took me a while, but I finally thought that we should open up the opportunity to expand our writing staff here at BDB to give you a broader perspective and certainly more frequent content. We are currently seeking applications for contributing writers.

… I am still here. It’s hard to write when…
a) I’m busy busy busy;
b) I could not watch Duke’s game versus Clemson; and
c) when the time between Duke games lasts about four days.
Speaking of which, Duke doesn’t play until Thursday, so I don’t have any idea, as of now, what I am going to write about. I’ll find something, though. There has to be something…
Anyway, please remember to follow Big Duke Balls on Twitter and like our Facebook page!
P.S. Did any of you watch the North Carolina/Florida State game on Saturday? I couldn’t, but I saw highlights. That was the funniest thing ever watching the Tar Holes fail as bad as they did on the road against the Seminoles. You could compare the game to college guys playing a bunch of high schoolers, and I’m sure you can guess who played like who.

EDITOR’S NOTE: By request from StadiumJourney.com, we have re-posted their review for Cameron Indoor Stadium, which is OBVIOUSLY Duke’s basketball stadium.
Cameron. The word may make you think of a former NFL and college head coach, a character in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off sporting a Detroit Red Wings jersey, or a beautiful blonde actress. But if you’re a fan of college basketball, you are much more likely to conjure an image of Cameron Indoor Stadium, home of the Duke Blue Devils basketball team.
The stadium is also home to one of the great student sections of all time, the Cameron Crazies. And, perhaps the second greatest college basketball coach of all-time (John Wooden takes that title in my book), Mike Krzyzewski also helps to make this a special place to see college basketball.
If you jotted down a list of the stadiums you would most like to visit in your lifetime (try it sometime), Cameron Indoor Stadium would likely make your list, and you would be right. Do it. Make the trip. You’ll be glad you did.
